Construction Division Profile
The Hoosier Company, Inc. ("Hoosier") has been in the highway construction industry for almost 50 years. The Construction Division functions as a prime contractor and as a subcontractor of specialty construction services throughout Indiana. Hoosier is a Pre-qualified Contractor within the State of Indiana. Additionally, Hoosier is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise ("DBE") with the Indiana Department of Transportation and as a Women Business Enterprise ("WBE") with the Indiana Department of Administration, the Indiana Department of Public Works and the Indiana Airport Authority. Our experienced Construction Division is led by Guntis Kirkis, Vice President and Safety Director of The Hoosier Company, Inc. There are five project managers covering the various construction services. Our project managers work on projects from estimation to completion and are very involved with the prime contractor and the owner of the project.
