OPERATION
The NITESTAR® DMI is designed to make distance measuring easy. Accurate measurements for 911 addressing are recorded from the comfort of your vehicle. The NiteStar has many features including serial connection to a laptop or printer that can aid data collection needs. Optional Survey Data Management (SDM) software and GPS receiver records coordinates for surveying and mapping data.

SOFTWARE
The Nitestar’s Survey Data Management software (SDM) provides a customizable interface to increase efficiency for asset management tasks.

NITESTAR APPLICATION: 9-1-1 ADDRESSING
Included within the Nitestar’s auxiliary programs is a user-friendly EMERGENCY 911 ADDRESSING PROGRAM used to accurately mark the location of a home or business. This is especially useful to police, ambulance, fire stations and other first responders who need accurate distance measurements regardless of terrain or GPS signal acquisition.
