Products / Impact Attenuators

| Quadguard
During head-on impacts, the CZ QuadGuard System telescopes rearward and
crushes the cartridges to absorb the energy of impact. When impacted
from the side, the CZ QuadGuard System redirects the errant
vehicle back toward its original travel path without allowing
gating. Compact, modular design (1 to 12 bays) accommodates speeds from
40 -
110 km/h (25 - 70 mph) providing the most efficient, cost-effective
crash protection. |

| REACT 350
During head-on impacts, the REACT 350 crushes the reusable cylinders to
absorb the energy of impact. When impacted from the side, the REACT 350
redirects the errant vehicle
back toward its original travel path without allowing gating. Sectional
design consists of energy-absorbing, reusable, "smart
plastic" (HMW/HDPE) cylinders attached to a self-contained backup, or
to a new or existing concrete-mounted backup system. |

| Energite
Non-redirective system Performs effectively with both light cars and
high center-of-gravity pickup trucksMeets TL-1 (50 km/h / 30 mph) TL-2
(70 km/h / 43 mph) and TL-3 (100 km/h / 62 mph) System array breaks up
during impact, and momentum transfer slows the vehicle. Years of
experience as a leader in the field. |

| QUEST
The QUEST System consists of a series of W-beam fender panels supported
by diaphragms with an innovative integrated trigger mechanism at the
nose that releases a “front assembly” during impacts to absorb the
energy of impact. During head-on impacts, the Quest impact attenuator
telescopes rearward
to absorb the energy of impact and bring the errant vehicle to a
controlled stop. When impacted from the side, the Quest impact
attenuator is capable of redirecting vehicles at angles up to 20°. |

| Brakemaster
During head-on impacts, the Brakemaster 350 telescopes rearward, using
friction technology to decelerate the vehicle. When impacted from the
side, after the beginning of length of need
(BLON), the Brakemaster 350 redirects the errant vehicle back toward
its original travel path. Unique cable/brake assembly helps to bring
impacting vehicles to a controlled stop. |

| Cushion Wall
Sectional design consists of energy-absorbing, reusable, "smart
plastic" (HMW/HDPE) cylinders that fit behind a concrete transition.
The cylinders can be customized to fit each specific application. Energy-absorbing, longitudinal wall dissipates kinetic energy,
and redirects the vehicle back onto roadway at shallow angle. The
cushioning keeps driver in control, reducing secondary accidents. |
 | EASI-Cell Cluster
EASI-Cell™ cluster crash cushion system features a series of
interconnected, energy-absorbing, reusable, "smart plastic" (HMW/HDPE)
cylinders that anchor to the hazard, a concrete transition or a rigid
steel backup structure. The cylinders can be customized to fit each
specific application. Protects against both head-on and lateral impacts in low-speed locations. |

| Quadtrend
During head on impacts, the QuadTrend 350 System directs the vehicle
away from concrete without vaulting, ramping or spearing. When impacted
from the side after the beginning of length of need
(BLON), the QuadTrend 350 System redirects the errant vehicle back
toward its original travel path. Quad-Beam panels provide 30% higher
beam strength than three beam panels. |

| Universal Barrels
System array breaks up during impact and momentum transfer slows the
vehicle. Decelerates impacting vehicles ranging in weight from 820 to
2000kg
(1,810 to 4,410 lbs.) and traveling at speeds up to 110 km/h (70 mph)
during head on impacts. The multi-piece construction saves time and
money on repairs because only the damaged parts need to be replaced
after impact. |

| Quadguard LMC
During head-on impacts, the QuadGuard® LMC crash cushion system telescopes rearward,
crushing the elastomeric cylinders to absorb the energy
of impact. When impacted from the side, QuadGuard® LMC redirects
the errant vehicle back toward its original travel path
without allowing gating.
