Highway Information Systems' DR2000 software systems deliver unprecedented control over your entire array of highway advisory radio stations -- all from a single computer.

The system allows message recording, review, selection, scheduling and synchronizing from Intel-based servers running the Windows NT or Windows 2000 operating system and Intel-based workstations running Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. The DR2000 communicates with HARs and flashing beacons using readily available communication methods.

AN EASY-TO-USE GRAPHICAL INTERFACE

The DR2000's intuitive interface provides graphical information about the state and location of up to 50 HAR stations. A single user can select, display and modify messages, list diagnostic information and control each HAR. Control of all HAR functions can be scheduled by date and time up to a year in advance. The software also allows multiple operators at different computers simultaneous access to the message library, HAR stations, flashing light signs and weather radios.

AMBER ALERT AND GPS SYNCHRONIZATION

The DR2000 system allows a library of up to 1,000 messages and enables faster-than-real-time downloads. Degradation-free digital messages can be simultaneously downloaded to all HAR stations. The DR2000 also allows HARs to provide feedback, including status reports and logs to confirm commands.

Options such as Text-to-Speech with optional male or female speaker, a Software Interface Module, a Web Browser User Interface and Variable Message Sign control add even more functionality.
