The Lufft ARS31Pro-UMB is a flush mounted active road/runway surface sensor designed to measure the freezing temperature of the surface by means of actively cooling and heating the sensor.

The Lufft IRS31Pro-UMB is a flush mounted passive road sensor that delivers accurate detection of road surface temperature, water film height, road condition (dry/damp/wet/ice/snow/damp with salt/wet with salt), friction/grip, ice percentage, and freezing temperature of various de-icing materials on the roadway (NaCl, MgCl, CaCl).

The Lufft Non-Invasive NIRS31-UMB road weather sensor uses optical technology to measure surface conditions such as wetness, ice, snow, frost, water film heights, ice percentage, and freeze point temperatures. Through these measurements it generates a friction/grip coefficient on the road or runway.

The radar precipitation sensor Lufft R2S-UMB is a present weather detector that utilizes radar measurement technology. The R2S delivers real-time measurement of precipitation intensity and distinguishes between precipitation type (Rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, hail).

The Ventus-UMB is an extremely precise and maintenance free sensor providing wind speed and wind direction data, even in the coldest of temperatures.

The Lufft VS2K-UMB Visibility Sensor measures visibility up to 2000 meters and is ideal for roadway applications on highways or bridges.

The WS10 is a compact all-in-one weather sensor designed for applications where measuring air temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, wind speed/direction, precipitation amount, precipitation intensity/type, UV index, sunlight direction, brightness and twilight, and global radiation is desired.

The WS10 is particularly suitable for building automation, smart city applications, and solar rooftops.

The WS100-UMB is a maintenance free weather sensor designed for applications where measuring precipitation type (rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, hail) and intensity is desired.

The WS200-UMB is a compact all-in-one weather sensor designed for applications where measuring wind direction and speed is desired. This sensor uses ultrasonic technology for a higher degree of accuracy and lower maintenance costs.

The WS700-UMB is a compact all-in-one weather sensor designed for applications where measuring air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation type and intensity, precipitation amount, and solar radiation is desired.

The WS800 is a compact all-in-one weather sensor designed for applications where measuring air temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, wind speed/direction, precipitation amount, precipitation intensity/type, UV index, solar radiation, and lightning strikes is desired.

The M.H. Corbin VX21-2 Wireless pavement sensor is a fully sealed and potted device used to measure true road surface and subgrade temperatures. The in-pavement sensor can also detect the presence of moisture and road salt on the roadway.

Manufactured by Lufft, the MARWIS is the first mobile road and runway weather sensor capable of detecting road conditions (dry, moist, wet, snow, ice, slush, chemically wet), surface and air temperature, water film heights, dew point, ice percentages, relative humidity, and friction values.

The Hoosier Company offers several options for RWIS equipment mounting structures.

Tower options include a hinged fold over RWIS lattice tower manufactured by Great Plains Towers.The DT/MHLT30/12 fold over tower is fully welded and assembled for rapid deployment. It withstands winds in excess of 130 MPH and is equipped with an anti-climb panel system.

The StaRWIS sensor from Lufft is the first non-invasive road weather sensor detecting road and runway surface conditions, surface temperatures, relative humidity, dew point temperatures, ice percentages as well as friction. All of these measurements are captured non-invasively utilizing innovative multiple lens LED Technology.

ViewMondo is a cloud software solution for customers who prefer the flexibility, simplicity, and security of a hosted user interface solution.  

ViewMondo has a dynamic platform that collects and displays both fixed and mobile RWIS stations.  Customers have the ability to customize the view, alert function and reporting capabilities in multiple formats.
